What is a Sommelier de café Membership?
The Sommelier de Café Membership is a subscription to deliver monthly coffees.
When does it start?
The coffee is prepared and shipped during the first week of the month. Your coffee will ship no later than the 7th of the month.
Are there any incentives in a Membership?
Yes!
- You will receive coffee without having to order each time.
- You will occasionally receive samples.
- After 10lbs of coffee, you receive a gift – a surprise that can be more coffee, mug, t-shirt, and more.
- 10% discount for orders greater than 2lbs.
- Discounted prices for special offers.
I just want a mix of different coffees. What do I select?
For a mix of coffees, select the Sommelier’s Pick option. The price is based on the average price of a range of coffee from Peruvian and Black Bear’s Butt.
What do I select if I already know what I want?
Select the Choose My Coffee option, followed by the coffee type (Signature Blends, Single Origin, Espresso or Decaf) and customize your subscription.
What do I select if I want more than 1 specific coffee?
Select the Choose My Coffee option for each type of coffee and add each subscription to your cart. We will then create one single subscription with the multiple coffees (and their various quantities) upon checkout.
If I selected more than 1 subscription, will I receive the coffees at the same time?
Yes, we ship or deliver your subscription in a single package.
What is the minimum size for each subscription?
The minimum subscription is 1lb.
How do I manage my subscription(s)?
Once you’ve signed up to one of our subscriptions, you’ll be able to view details of your subscriptions on the My Account dashboard. Your account will have a menu item Subscriptions added to the page.
On the Subscriptions page, you’ll see each of your subscriptions, along with subscription status, next payment date and links to View Subscription which contains all details of the subscription.
To view the full details for a subscription:
- Go to My Account page and go to Subscriptions in the menu.
- Scroll to the Subscriptions table.
- Select the View button next to the subscription in the Subscriptions table; or
- Click the subscription number under the Subscription column in the Subscriptions table.
I am moving. How do I change my address?
Under My Account > Subscriptions, choose the subscription you’d like to edit and click View.
On the View Subscription page, choose Change Address to update your shipping address.
Can I change my subscription during the subscription period?
Yes. You can change your subscription(s) at any time. Simply log in to My Account and choose Subscriptions in the menu, then select View on the subscription you’d like to manage.
A set of action buttons to manage your subscription will be found on the View Subscription page:
- Cancel or Suspend an active subscription
- Reactivate a suspended subscription
- Resubscribe an expired or canceled subscription
- Pay for a renewal order when the automatic recurring payment failed or the subscription uses manual renewals
- Change the Payment Method used for automatic recurring payments
- Change Address for subscriptions which require shipping
How long is the subscription period?
To guarantee your subscription price, you’re signed up for 1 year. You can choose to suspend or cancel your subscription at any time.
Our online store calculates the recurring amount that you should be charged at the time you place your first order. This amount is then stored on your subscription. As a result, as coffee prices fluctuate throughout the year, existing subscriptions won’t be affected.
All existing subscriptions will continue to be charged the old price by default, up to a year.
Can I temporarily suspend my subscription?
You can choose to suspend your subscription at any time.
Manage your subscription(s) from the My Account > Subscriptions > View Subscription page.

- Suspend an active subscription
